2017 November - end of season bottom scrub !
It's that time of year again . This time at Port Solent. We'll be out for at least 3 months to get the usual maintenance work done.
2017 October - Weymouth to Gosport via yarmouth
Yarmouth is always a favourite but we couldnt believe how busy it was - we have been used to the quieter West Country for several months.
2017 October - time to head back to Royal Clarence at Gosport - Dartmouth to Weymouth
We wanted to cross Lyme bay which is a 40 mile slog before the weather got too wintry . We also had to time the crossing to meet the tidal window around Portland Bill. In the end we left dartmouth pre dawn had a very quiet sail and were back in Weymouth early evening
2017 September - low tide Salcombe
Never seen Salcombe at quite such low water as this. Normandy pontoon almost dry !
2017 September - Back to Salcombe to meet old friends
We were delighted to be going back to Salcombe to meet up with some of very old friends - some of whom were over from Australia
