Auray's charm is it's authenticity. It has not been over developed and still retains the charm of an ancient Breton port . It's generally busy, even in September but well worth taking some time to explore.
Discovered Bourgenay as a useful stop over going north back to the Vilaine. Nothing to write home about and was the hottest day of the year so far - 39'c
Vannes market is great with so much food (and other stuff) displayed wonderfully The Duc de Bretagne doesn't look too happy I don't think we have many hat shops left in the UK but in France...... ..
